Extension of Bessemer Road to Joe Rouse Road and its realignment to Highway 41 are complete. Residents should know that Bessemer Road is the designated construction traffic route, which makes the communities on Bessemer Road inconvenienced the most. Residential Development

Residential construction in Pembroke, Masonborough, Tennyson Row, The Battery, and Kensington continues. Announcements are expected soon on:

Commercial development of the Park West Business Center, the business entities of which are located along Park West Boulevard between the first and second roundabouts continues with a multi-purpose facility on Salterbeck Street by Baxely Development.

Commercial development has also started on the commercial property along the newly completed Bessemer Road in Park West. Uses extend from Flex Non-Residential Space (buildings utilized primarily for storage and warehouse purposes, which may or may not have showroom or display space, common areas and internal amenities), Office/Warehouse, Mini Storage, Convenience store with gas pumps and a Restaurant.
